Extending the Nike Pro Combat storyline from the David Fincher directed TV spot, we created a “Staring Battle” with star NFL running back, Adrian Peterson. The outcome is an interactive banner experience that allows users to compete, head-to-head, with one of the most intense and "badass" competitors in all of sports. Within this unique banner experience, we integrated web cam and motion sensor technology to allow for a real-time staring competition. For this co-directing project between Jason Zada and leading Flash developer, Grant Skinner, we pushed the boundaries of hi-def video and interactivity within the banner. Depending on how well you do against Adrian, you may see his different reactions, including head-bobs and even a fly walking across Peterson’s face, as he does his best to get you off your game.
